**Duty Manager - The Village, Melbourne**

**About Us**

Leisure Accommodation Collective (LA/Co) operates some of Australia and New Zealand’s favourite stays, from The Village hostels to our new hybrid hotel-hostel brand, Drifter.

Our Village brand spans eight unique locations, from the lively laneways of Melbourne CBD to the natural beauty of Cairns, creating memorable experiences for travellers near and far.

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Duty Manager to lead our front-line team and ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for our guests.

**The Role**

As Duty Manager, you’ll help make our hostel a warm and welcoming place for guests by actively supporting them across various touchpoints. Whether it’s lending a hand during breakfast, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, helping at events, or guiding guests with inquiries, you’ll be there wherever needed to ensure an exceptional experience.

You’ll work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and support managers, playing a hands-on role in upholding our safety protocols and procedures.

**Who We’re Looking For**

You have experience in hospitality, ideally in a supervisory or management role. You’re organised, proactive and have a solid understanding of guest services and hostel or hotel operations.

You’re friendly and approachable with strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Being adaptable is essential in this role, as our hostel operates 24/7.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, is key.

You’re familiar with booking systems, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols, and you either have a current police clearance or are willing to obtain one.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
