**Who we are**
The Financial Management Branch is responsible for:

- divisional finance support
- internal budgeting and management reporting
- treasury, taxation, and government loans
- financial accounting including financial statements and monthly government reporting
- asset management and financial reporting.

Finance Business Partner Teams partner across the business and with senior executives to provide strategic financial advice and assistance on financial related issues. These teams prepare monthly divisional financial management reports, monitor budgets and forecasts that reflect the Division’s business plan, and most importantly provide a conduit to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO).

The Financial Reporting and Treasury Section is responsible for Financial Reporting, Asset Management and Treasury functions.

**The Job**
Your duties will include carrying out Treasury processing functions such as:

- processing payment and receipts using online banking and financial management information systems
- cash appropriation drawdowns
- meeting processing deadlines in an environment of fluctuating processing volumes, exercising sound judgement and initiative to ensure quality standards are met
- delivering accurate and timely month end reporting in accordance with month end reporting timetables
- building productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- contributing to ongoing business improvement initiatives within the team.

**What we are looking for**
**Knowledge and experience**
- Relevant knowledge and experience in working in a Corporate Treasury team, and a clear understanding of the Commonwealth Appropriation Framework.
- Relevant knowledge and experience in using online banking systems, financial management systems, Central Budget Management System (CBMS) and Microsoft Excel.
