**APG Workforce are currently looking for an Environmental Officer for a 12-month contract Government Sector based in Sydney CBD.**

**Start Date**: ASAP

**End Date**: 12 Months

**Pay Rate: Sydney CBD + WFH - 1 day per fortnight required in either Sydney CBD office or Parramatta office**

**Pay Rate: $71.00 Per Hour + Super**

**Primary purpose of the role**
As an EV Content Officer, you will be responsible for creating content development plans, and EV-specific written, visual and verbal media to grow awareness of and participation across all of the EV programs.

The role will take initiative to help these program streams grow their web resources, tools and content to inform a range of stakeholders including industry groups and associations, businesses, local councils, the general public and more.

You will work across the EV program teams and with the Marketing and Communications team to co-design creative and impactful resources that promote and educate audiences on the NSW EV Strategy programs, convert awareness into participation and help increase EV uptake across NSW.

**Key accountabilities**
- Research effective and engaging content ideas to inform audiences on the NSW EV Strategy and our latest program developments, with a customer-centric lens
- Create, edit and proofread written and visual educational content such as case studies of successful program participants, “how-to” guides or videos, fact sheets, webinars and infographics
- Develop content, engagement and communication strategies and coordinate their execution
- Help audiences tackle barriers to owning or operating an electric vehicle with myth-busting and trust-building content that is clear and captivating
- Effective and collaborative internal and external stakeholder consultation and engagement with people of various levels of seniority and expertise
- Lead and direct procurement activities for the outsourcing of copywriting and/ or digital/ video production where necessary
- Research and develop a deep understanding of the commercial drivers, developments and trends of EV uptake across NSW, particularly with fleet managers, local councils, regional destination businesses and an array of public audiences at different stages of their transition to an electric and decarbonised future
- Work with Digital teams to monitor, analyse and report on the performance of digital products and use the data to inform future activities.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Ability to create content that translates technical, legal or government processes to a variety of audiences in creative, accessible and engaging ways.
- Understanding and experience working to style and brand guidelines
- Experience in managing high volumes of information whilst meeting predetermined deadlines and defined standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience in producing digital content including infographics, video production and writing for the web
