Aspect’s team has significant ongoing work with an existing client base and has immediate opportunities for full-time Environmental Project Manager to support existing project demands and contribute to the development of future opportunities.

We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Planner/Scientist/Environmental Engineer with experience in environment impact assessments (SSD/SSI/REF/SEE), modifications, environmental management plans and associated supporting documentation, to support our team in Sydney (at our Norwest office. Auditing and EMS experience are desirable.

**What abilities are we looking for in these role**

Ability to lead and manage the preparation of environmental documentation, including consultation with relevant agencies

Ability to research and review of assessment documentation and best practice measures to inform delivery of innovative solutions to clients

Ability to engage and collaborate with multi-disciplinary clients and stakeholders in the collation and provision of project documentation to support all project phases of complex projects

Be a strong verbal and written communicator

Have a solid understanding of the workings of NSW and Commonwealth environmental legislation and planning instruments

Be highly motivated, self-directed and proactive with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork

Ability and desire to solve problems through innovative and critical thinking

Right to work in Australia for an immediate start

**Your experience**

Experience in managing or undertaking environmental documentation

A minimum of 7 years’ experience working on environmental impact assessment with a demonstrated knowledge of NSW and Commonwealth environmental and planning legislation and planning legislation, preferably in a consulting or construction environment

**Our roles**:
The role involves working on behalf of our clients to effectively and efficiently deliver complex, and often confidential projects. Delivery of these projects requires capability to review existing planning, assessment and management documentation to inform and manage ongoing and future planning, construction and operations.

You will be expected to be able to operate in both a semi-autonomous and collaborative manner in delivery of project outcomes.

You will be involved in a mixed working environment comprising Aspect’s business office in the Norwest Business Park, Baulkham Hills, clients’ offices and clients’ sites. This may require travel within and outside of metropolitan Sydney.

You will gain experience in business development and consulting practice by working directly with business leaders who have in excess of 30 years’ of experience in leading and building local environmental practices within international consulting engineering firms.

**Main responsibilities**:
Lead, manage and prepare environmental documentation.

Provide technical support to senior resources, to meet or exceed client expectations.

Plan, programme, coordinate and manage the delivery of projects.

Maintain expectations of budget, timeframe, technical and quality standards in each project deliverable.

Identify opportunities and develop future business that aligns with Aspect’s core business strategy.

**Qualifications**:
Environmental planning, science, management or engineering tertiary degree

7+ years’ industry experience, preferably working within a consulting and/or construction environment.

Valid driver's licence

Knowledge of Commonwealth and NSW Environmental Legislation

NSW White Card (CIC);
Environmental Auditor qualifications (e.g. Exemplar Global (or equivalent) certification in Environmental Management / Environmental Management Systems) - desirable but not essential;
