Maxima is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Officer for a casual assignment based in Logan.

The role will be responsible for;
- delivering environmental extension and education and services
- overseeing environmental grants
- support the delivery of environmental activities and events that develop public awareness and support the community's ability to conserve and enhance the natural environment

The role offers flexible start - finish times, Use of council vehicle for site visits, and an opportunity to work with a passionate and experienced team.

The hours for this casual assignment will be Monday to Friday 8-5pm with a casual hourly pay rate of between $36.62 and 48.03 (depending on experience level) + Super.

**Portfolio Responsibilities;**
- Deliver private land conservation services to the community, including;
- Land for Wildlife
- Flora and Fauna identification
- Weed management advice
- Waterway restoration advice
- Property management planning
- Assist with environmental grant advice
- Support the delivery of environmental education services to develop public awareness and support the community's ability to conserve and enhance the natural environment

**About you;**
- Degree in Environmental Management, Science or similar
- Strong customer and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to put complicated information into practical language
- Demonstrated experience in delivering environmental services, and delivering required outcomes within agreed timeframes
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, engage and manage a broad range of stakeholders and customers to deliver innovative best practice environmental services
- Possession of a current driver's licence, Blue Card, Hep A & Tetanus Vaccinations
- Ability to work after hours on the occasion if required

You will be required to supply your AUS work rights and 2 recent Referees.
