**About the role**:
We’re looking for an experienced **Marketing and Communications Manager** to lead our efforts in promoting our brand, driving customer engagement, and strengthening our reputation. Reporting to the General Manager of Shared Services, you will play a pivotal role in creating and implementing strategic marketing and communication initiatives that align with CDC NSW’s mission and goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Manage media relations, including preparing press releases, coordinating interviews, and acting as a spokesperson when required.
- Oversee internal communications to ensure alignment across all teams and departments.
- Lead digital marketing campaigns, including social media management, website content, and online advertising.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver community engagement initiatives and promote public transport usage.
- Analyse marketing performance metrics and prepare detailed reports to measure the success of campaigns.
- Manage the marketing budget effectively to deliver cost-efficient solutions.

**About you**:
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is creative yet strategic, and has a passion for building connections with diverse audiences.

**You’ll bring**:

- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the transport or service industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, content management systems, and social media platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- A collaborative approach and a natural ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
