**We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Manager to lead and manage afternoon and night shift operations.**

Are you experienced with linehaul operations and have a proven track record in managing logistics networks and optimising transportation efficiency?

**About the role**:

- Develop and implement strategies to optimise the company’s linehaul transportation network, ensuring efficient route planning and cost-effective operations.
- Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall transportation and efficiency
- Lead and mentor a team of transportation professionals, providing guidance, support and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Set clear performance objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and promote professional development within the team
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, transportation regulations and company policies to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings
- Work closely with customer and internal stakeholders to understand their transportation needs and ensure service levels meet or exceed expectations.

**To be considered for this role you will have**:

- **Availability to commence shift at 6pm.**:

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transport operations.
- Proven track record in optimising linehaul networks and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate team members.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a challenging and dynamic industry.
- be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.

**Salary**: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
