An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Despatch & Transport Supervisor to lead and coordinate transport and despatch operations for a leading national manufacturer.

You'll oversee the day-to-day scheduling of deliveries across Sydney, regional NSW and interstate locations, ensuring on-time, in-full performance and exceptional customer service. The role is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring strong planning, leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage daily despatch and transport activities.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and optimise transport utilisation.
  • Monitor costs, load efficiency, and delivery accuracy.
  • Lead daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and safety checks.
  • Ensure real-time updates of order and transport status using ERP systems.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse and yard.
  • Investigate and resolve transport or delivery issues promptly.
  • Report key performance metrics including DIFOT, costs, and safety outcomes.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across warehouse and transport operations.

About You

You'll have experience in despatch or transport supervision, ideally in a manufacturing or logistics environment. You're safety-focused, solutions-oriented and skilled in scheduling, cost control and people leadership, combined with excellent communication skills.

Experience with ERP or transport tracking systems (e.g. Pronto, DeTrack) is advantageous.
