We have a new opportunity available to join our Opal Packaging Plus Sydney sales team as a Territory Account Manager.

Opal Packaging Plus is an industry-leading packaging and consumables business that has been delivering packaging solutions to Australian businesses for more than 40 years. A member of the Opal Group, an innovative, renewable packaging company with operations in Australia and New Zealand, we combine our national footprint and global connections with our expert knowledge and strategic supplier relationships to deliver affordable packaging consumable solutions to suit every customer.

This will be a hybrid account management and new business development role. You will have an existing customer portfolio to manage and an expectation around prospecting and winning new customer business.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

- Prospecting and generating leads to develop new business opportunities in your assigned territory
- Maintaining and growing sales and gross margin within your existing customer base
- Developing and delivering customer solutions
- Using your technical ability to understand the way our customers use our products and how we can add value to their business

- A proven track record of being a successful new business hunter; developing and winning profitable new business
- The ability to grow share of wallet within an existing customer portfolio
- An entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on capability, be intuitive and assertive
- Proven negotiation skills, persuasive ability and an ability to multi-task
- Self-motivation, initiative, and analytical skills
