**About - Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology**
For more than 150 years, FEIT has been the primary source of engineering and IT education and research in Australia. It is a School that encompasses a range of disciplines and is structured around three main areas: Computing and Information Systems (CIS), Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (CBE), and Electrical, Mechanical, and Infrastructure Engineering (EMI). This multidisciplinary approach allows FEIT to offer students a comprehensive education that prepares them for a diverse range of career paths in areas such as software engineering, biomedical research, and infrastructure design and construction.
**About the Role**
The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in promoting the Medtech programs by leading communication and marketing efforts. They work closely with Project Directors, university partners, and the CEO of the ACMD to provide strategic advice and drive the implementation of marketing communications initiatives that align with the program objectives. Essentially, the Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies to raise awareness and increase engagement in the Medtech programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the Program Directors and Project Manager, develop marketing plans to promote the Medtech programs, launch new value propositions and differentiate offers and programs in the market.
- Support management of complex channel deliverables for marketing communications activity including content sourcing, authoring and events to support student recruitment, industry engagement, and community building purposes.
- Promote Medtech related activities, events and programs, including producing engaging content for a variety of marketing platforms and social media.

**About You**
To be successful in this role, you would have a strong background in marketing, with a demonstrated track record of providing exceptional service to clients. You should be skilled in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders from academia, industry, and government, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in a collaborative, rapidly changing, and agile environment and be able to use creative thinking to challenge the status quo in order to deliver effective business outcomes.
You will also have:
- 5+ years’ experience in integrated marketing communications, content development and execution strategies, including digital media platforms and website management.
- Demonstrated work experience within relevant marketing and communications field and tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, finance, business or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Demonstrated successful delivery of marketing communications activities within a large and complex organisation.
