**About the Role**

The Academic Programs Manager (APM) leads and manages the academic program, in consultation with the Dean and, on particular aspects of the program, the Warden. The principal responsibilities of the APM are to implement the strategic vision associated with the Academic programs in the Residential College, provide leadership in this area, manage staff, promote the College, and manage budgets.

The APM will have a highly visible profile within the community and is expected to be an outstanding role model for residents and an integral part of the residential community.

The Trinity College Residential College has 372 undergraduate students in residence. Trinity College offers outstanding resources to its students including a rigorous and supportive academic program, pastoral rich service, sporting and extra-curricular opportunities and a worldwide network of alumni and friends of the College.

**About You**

To be considered for this role you must have:

- PhD or similar post-graduate qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working as a scholar and educator at a university, preferably the University of Melbourne.
- Demonstrated experience in providing academic and internship advice, study planning and study skills support.
- Familiarity with, or capacity to develop this familiarity, University of Melbourne administrative and academic processes.
- High interpersonal communication skills specifically with an undergraduate cohort and at all levels within a culturally diverse education community.
- Ability to develop new programs that increase the efficiency and efficacy of the college’s academic programs.

**Contract Type**:Full-time, 12 month maximum term position, commencing ASAP.

**Salary Range**: Band 4 FTE $86,093 - $98,345 plus 10.5% Superannuation and 17.5% Leave loading
