Are you an experienced digital health leader ready to make a meaningful impact on the mental health of Australian children and families? We're seeking a Part Time Program Manager to lead the continued delivery and development of the Raising Healthy Minds App, an innovative, evidence-based tool designed to improve mental health literacy among parents, carers, and professionals working with children aged 0–12.
This national initiative is delivered by the Raising Children Network (RCN) and forms a key part of the Murdoch Children's Research Institute's (MCRI) Child Mental Health Strategy.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of RCN, the Program Manager will lead a passionate team to deliver and continuously improve the Raising Healthy Minds App. You'll play a senior leadership role, working closely with internal teams, government stakeholders, clinical experts, and app developers to ensure the app is safe, impactful, and responsive to the needs of users across Australia.
This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to shape digital mental health delivery at scale—supporting families and contributing to national mental health outcomes.
Your responsibilities include:
Lead the delivery, strategy, and performance of the Raising Healthy Minds App
Oversee project planning, budgeting, timelines, risk management, and reporting
Work closely with app developers to optimise functionality, performance, and user experience
Ensure the app complies with National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health (NSQDMH) standards
Manage stakeholder engagement, including health professionals, educators, researchers, and advisory committees
What we need from you:
Postgraduate qualifications (Master's or PhD) in public health, child mental health, or a related field
At least 5 years of leadership experience in digital health or mental health projects
Strong understanding of digital product development and user experience
Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and lead cross-sector collaboration
Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams and driving strategic initiatives
