Leading real estate agency seeks experienced facilities expert to join their team ASAP.

**Your new company**

**Is a specialised commercial real estate company with a large national presence and beautiful offices here in Melbourne. They pride themselves in beautiful listings and a strong established brand in the industry. This role is available for the first time in a long time and is seeking an established corporate facilities management professional, ideally with a property background.**

The primary function of this role is to assist with the delivery of facility management services to our Melbourne CBD location and contribute to the continual improvement of our facilities management procedures for this leading commercial real estate agency.

**Your new role**

**Supporting a facilities manager, your duties will include**:

- Assist with building management works including coordination of maintenance works, liaison with external contractors and/or trades
- Logging of maintenance issues for the building and coordinating service providers
- Respond to in-bound technical calls from staff in an efficient, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
- Receive requests for services from the customers, prioritise the activity in line with the agreed service levels and communicates work to appropriate contractors or suppliers for action.
- Complete resolution of technical issues including the assurance that escalated cases are addressed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Senior Facilities Manager and or FM team to be advised of any unresolved requests.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining of all open work orders.
- Assist in the management of essential service compliance reporting and the undertaking of building inspections as required.
- Ensure that all calls taken have been resolved, if not resolved, ensure escalation has been done and customer has been contacted.
- Contribute to team suggestions for improving help desk support processes.
- Coordinate contractors on the helpdesk
- Assist with any team/department moves to external offices this includes liaison with internal stakeholders and external contracts

What you need to succeed:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role preferably including experience with office facilities and contractor coordination
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with contractors, tenants, clients, FM team and senior managers.
- Contract negotiation experience is highly desirable
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong Microsoft office suit skills
- Experience with facility management and/or building services or maintenance coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at varying levels of the business
