- Enjoy rewarding work, a respectful culture, and the support you need to thrive
- Competitive remuneration, flexibility including hybrid WFH options, and incredible benefits
- Play a key role supporting WIC as we help injured Victorians find a way forward
The impact you'll have:
At the Workplace Injury Commission, we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.
Due to recent movements, we are looking for an Office and Facilities Manager to join us. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Office and Facilities Manager is a varied role, primarily focussing on ensuring high standard office facilities and administration services to support WIC's employees and visitors to the offices.
Harnessing your experience in facilities and/or office management, you will manage the facilities, services and goods contracts for our offices across 3 floors at 215 Spring Street (Melbourne CBD). This includes responding as the first point of contact for any office and facilities management issues or queries raised by employees, engaging with internal and external stakeholders including organising maintenance work where required. You'll also manage planned maintenance services, schedule contractors and maintain facilities records.
Hybrid work arrangements are available, however due to the inherent nature of this role, a strong on-site presence is required.
Who we're looking for:
- Demonstrated prior experience in a facilities or office management position, ideally in an organisation which provides public facing services.
- Strong contract management skills including management of vendors to KPI's and deliverables and an understanding and exposure related to building/facilities related compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to monitor stakeholder satisfaction and constructively manage issues.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail, with prior experience maintaining high quality records and registers, and exposure to financial administration processes.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees and management at all levels of the organisation, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Experience processing and authorising purchase orders and invoices.
Resolution matters. And so do you.
We're a stable, purpose-driven organisation that offers you meaningful work, a welcoming and vibrant team culture, and a range of benefits, including:
- Competitive remuneration, plus generous allowances and reimbursements for study, wellbeing and home-office working.
- More leave when you need it most - flexible leave arrangements tailored to you.
- Access to our 24/7 holistic mental health and wellbeing program for you and your family.
- A focus on career development including professional development days and access to LinkedIn Learning.
- Access to additional benefits and perks like novated motor vehicle leasing.
- A progressive and supportive work environment with experienced leaders who are invested in you.
