Facilities Officer, established state government organisation within CBD, rate per hour between $40 - $50

**Your new company**
Are you ready for your next step in your career? This State Government organisation within the CBD is looking to bring an experienced Facilities Officer to join a supportive and collaborative team environment. You’ll be instrumental in contributing directly to the overall successful management across three facilities supporting the Facilities Manager.

**Your new role**
With a variety of responsibilities, reporting to the Facilities Manager, day to day could see you:

- Ensuring facilities services are provided, actioning reactive maintenance requests utilising the facilities management operating system
- Advising team members on financial, technical, and operational matters as required
- Overseeing fleet management and stock management
- Invoice processing
- Meet and greet subcontractors and consultants (Supervising)
- Overseeing security and building site access, swipe card access system

**What you'll need to succeed**
To hit the ground running, you’ll have worked in a similar position in facilities, and have the following:

- Tertiary qualifications in facilities management or relevant experience
- Previous building maintenance or facilities experience
- An excellent understanding of Microsoft office
- Ability to assist with lifting and moving office furniture when required
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and admin skills
- Prior experience in State Government is desirable
- Driving licence as need to be able to travel to the multiple sites
