The Role We are searching for an Operations Manager to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all operational functions are in line with customer expectations, identify and train best practice for running efficient production, procurement, and scheduling processes.
This role will suit someone with a hands-on approach with excellent leadership and management skills.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Management of the Production team, providing guidance and direction to the team to ensure the daily work tasks are performed within operational guidelines and in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure procurement of goods is completed to meet deadlines
- Improvement of current systems, processes, procedures, and reporting
- Effective communication with team members, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure that clients receive their orders within the agreed time frame
- Ensure warehouse, storage areas and production equipment are maintained and in good condition

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous experience in an Operations Manager role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients
- A passionate self-starter who is driven, takes ownership and makes things happen
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills - ability to come up with solutions for problems that arise
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, managing multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative
- Knowledge of warehousing and inventory management
- Experience with procurement, logistics and freight management
- Be prepared to work in other areas of the business as and when required

Desirable experience
- Experience in the furniture industry
