Your new company offers capability in through-life support, logistics, systems integration, and security. Operating from sites across the country in support of Defence and security customer, this company has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join their team in Amberley to assist with the completion of one of their major projects.
**Your new role**
In your new role you will be responsible for ensuring facilities meet environment, health, and safety requirements while ensuring the facilities comply with legislations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Directing, coordinating, or planning essential central services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
- Acting as a prime contact with Landlords on Facility issues and concerns
- Managing the work request system ensuring that all requests are monitored and closed within a timely manner
- Escorting or overseeing the maintenance and support staff carrying out maintenance works
- Managing the resources (plants, car, room) booking system
- Maintaining a good, safe, and working environment
- Supervising the access to the facilities including clients, guests, contractors, and suppliers
- Controlling activities including, parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
- Managing the Emergency and Health and Safety infrastructure within the facilities
- Coordinating of all logistic activities within the facilities

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Confident working with various stakeholders both internally and externally
- High attention to detail
- Experience planning and coordinating services
