ABOUT THE ROLE
Bapcor Group Procurement and Business Units teams negotiate and agree trading terms and rebate agreements with merchandise suppliers which delivers rebate revenue, growth incentives and funds to support marketing activities.
The Accounts/Administration Officer assists in the process for tracking and collection of rebates against agreed terms for inventory purchased.
**Key responsibilities include**:
Assist and improve the validation process to ensure Bapcor is accounting for and collecting all agreed supplier rebates.
Monitoring and reporting on supplier status and assist with estimates, collection, reconciliation, reporting of rebate income.
Co-ordinate with finance teams and rovide data to support distribution among among different business units.
Work closely with Accounts Payable and other business units about rebate deductions to ensure optimum rebate income.
Identify potential terms issues under existing supplier agreement & flag to relevant procurement team.
Assist in managing a database capturing all important trading terms of rebate contracts.
ABOUT YOU
This role would be ideal for a degree or equivalent in finance or accounting Graduate who is wanting to take next step in their career.
Minimum of one year+ working in a finance, reconciliations and/or accounts position is required.
Advanced Excel skills are essential.
An eye for detail and ability to analyse data and provide reports and presentations for decision on making.
Help develop and then manage structured, robust, and transparent key processes.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, Business, Finance, Accounting or Procurement preferred, but not essential.
