Enterprise Risk Lead

**Exciting leadership role with an established, global FinTech**: - **Sydney based. Broad Remit. Operating up to Board/committee level**: - **Bring your extensive enterprise risk knowledge to a highly visible role**: - **Backed by a Global business but within a "startup" environment** **Overview** This global technology organisation are going through a period of growth in Australia and are looking for someone to lead an independent risk oversight function in Australia whilst also contributing to the APAC regional risk strategy. You will have a team of 5 direct reports onshore and offshore. As a key member of the risk leadership team, this is an opportunity to manage short and long term risk topics as well as oversight across Operational Risk, IT Risk, Risk Culture, Controls, Risk Policy Frameworks and Project Risk. The role has a dual reporting line to a local Head of Risk and the APAC Risk Officer. **Desired Experience** - Sound experience leading Risk functions ideally within a technology business - Working knowledge across Operational Risk, IT Risk, Project Risk and Outsourcing Risk - Experience building and leading a high performing and lean team - Able to demonstrate the ability to work across multiple time zones and jurisdictions globally - Strategic mindset with the ability to develop forward thinking 3-5 year risk & compliance strategies - a start up mindset will be highly regarded - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and engage with the Exec Team, regulators, and external providers - Knowledge of Australian Regulatory requirements and standards such as COBIT 2019, COSO frameworks, ISO27000/001/002, ISAE/SOC - Ability to juggle multiple conflicting priorities across BAU outcomes and large projects and initiatives. - Good knowledge of local regulatory environment and standards like - Strong communication and conflict management skills, experience in working with C-level management a plus. **Benefits** - Broad responsibilities with end-to-end oversight of risk - Part of a highly regarded leadership team - Opportunity to travel to APAC region and Europe (not mandatory - flexibility to manage as needed) - A well sized innovative and growing technology organisation yet still with global reach - Exciting environment to be a part of as it builds - Leadership role with skilled team of people to deliver on objectives - Ability to design and implement the way risk is managed as the business builds **How to apply** BBBH52610_167582678170266
