National Worker's Compensation Manager

**About You**:
You have a depth of experience managing Workers Compensation within a large geographically dispersed organisation and have strong knowledge of the levers that will drive positive workers compensation outcomes. You are also highly commercial and an analytical with exceptional stakeholder, collaboration and influencing skills. You are looking for a role that offers you full responsibility for achieving outcomes and management of processes.

The essential Skills and Qualifications you need:

- Regulator accredited qualification training and demonstrated experience in rehabilitation and Recover at Work (RAW)
- Deep understanding of workers compensation legislation and claims management in all jurisdictions
- Demonstrated results in improving workers’ compensation performance
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a large and geographically diverse organisation
- Proven ability to demonstrate resilience in managing challenging and complex claims
- A high degree of influencing skills, partnered with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify potential common law risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
- Superior time management skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment

**Your new role**:
We are an organisation with a strong safety agenda focussed on keen management of risks and optimal commercial outcomes. You will have full accountability for the execution of strategy, plans and initiatives that will deliver positive workers compensation and injury management. Reporting to the Executive General Manager of Health, Safety and Sustainability you will lead a small team and work directly with your colleagues to manage a variety of claims across our diverse workforce.
