The Compliance Manager at our esteemed client, a leading educational institution, plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) software program - CompliSpace Assurance. This role involves ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory obligations, fostering a culture of risk and compliance awareness, and facilitating the integration of key governance and operational programs.

**The Opportunity**:

- Ensure alignment with the institution's strategic objectives.
- Provide assurance regarding compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement risk reports for key stakeholders.
- Facilitate a strong culture of risk and compliance awareness through training and mentoring.
- Integrate compliance obligations into existing practices and procedures.
- Liaise with regulators, establish compliance performance indicators, and monitor compliance performance.
- Review and enhance the design and implementation of the Compliance Program regularly.
- Support the effective management of enterprise risk.
- Design and improve incident management reporting systems.
- Develop and maintain Workplace Health & Safety policies and related procedures.
- Foster a cohesive community by promoting harmonious relationships and effective communication.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to design and implement effective programs.
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the education sector.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
- Experience in incident management and workplace health & safety.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and cohesive community.
- Loyalty and support to the institution's leadership with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
