**Full Job Description**
**Public Sector People (PSP) **are currently seeking an experienced Mail & Archive Coordinator who would be interested in a 2 - 3 month contract and join an exciting and Well-known NSW Government organisation.
- _Immediate State_
- _Western Sydney Location_
- _2 month contract (potential to extend)_
- _$43 p/h + Super _
- _35 hrs per week Monday - Friday_
- _Mailing & Archive experience is essential_
**About The Role**:
This role is to help lead the mailing & archive team and assist with the day to day operations. This role will be
responsible for ensuring all mail and all semi current and non-current corporate records are managed in
accordance with industry standards to achieve efficiency and maintain integrity of archive management.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the efficient mail handling, registration, and management in accordance with organisational
- policies and procedures.
- Oversee the maintenance and entry of data to the Council’s records management system
- Archive management
- Develop organisational wide archival management procedures, tools and monitor and update archival
- standards, and procedures including providing support and training.
- Document management
- Manage large physical sentencing and storage projects in accordance with quality, cost and
- timeliness requirements
- Any other initiatives as per Manager
**About you**:
- A tertiary qualification in archives, records, or information management or equivalent industry
experience
- Minimum 3 - 5 yrs experience in an Archivist position
- Digital & manual archive experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent archive & document management
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Trim & Microsoft suites experience
- Local or State Gov high desired
- Experience with leading a team or in a Snr position
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
- **Must be fully vaccinated**
