Element Shopfitting is a respected Gold Coast-based construction company specialising in high-end retail, hospitality, and commercial fit-outs across Australia. As our business grows, we’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive **Project Administrator** to support our projects and team.
Whether you bring previous construction admin experience or are looking to grow into the role, we’ll provide the support and training you need.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
Based in our Burleigh Heads office, you’ll work closely with project managers, site supervisors and senior leadership to keep projects running smoothly. Your role will span from handling contracts and compliance through to project reporting and client communications.
You'll also get involved in things like marketing support and organising team events - a varied role with room to grow
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and manage project documentation (contracts, safety manuals, handover packs)
- Track project progress through reporting and variation claims
- Maintain compliance by following up on certifications and contractor documents
- Create purchase orders and support finance tracking
- Liaise with clients to keep them informed and supported
- Participate in team meetings and assist with OH&S obligations
- Maintain contract records and assist with close-out processes
- Additional office administrations tasks
- Support business development and occasional marketing/event planning
**What We’re Looking For**
We’re after someone who’s organised, eager to learn, and takes pride in getting the details right.
**Ideally, you’ll have**:
- Previous experience in construction admin or estimating (3+ years preferred, but not essential)
- Knowledge of QBCC contracts or similar
- Confidence using programs like Buildxact (or willing to learn)
- Great attention to detail and strong record-keeping
- A proactive and adaptable approach
