Full Time permanent role - Office located in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast **About the role** Within our Head office there is an opportunity for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team. Working in a fast paced, high volume environment, you will be responsible for coordinating work requests for our scheduled works and projects, liaising with trades and sub-contractors and managing clients relationships. **The role will also include**: - Answering calls - first point of contact for scheduling - Liaising with clients to understand service requirements and updating scheduling contacts to ensure requests are met - Maintaining the scheduling database by ensuring job details are updated regularly and scheduled services are undertaken - Liaising with management regarding jobs and being proactive in providing solutions and resolutions where possible - Managing the updating of all scheduled works and further works - Updating, investigating and following up job queries/ gathering of information to ensure scheduling team have all available information - Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information; - General administration duties - filing, copying etc. **The successful applicant will need to have**: - Minimum 2 years in a similar office coordination role - Coordination/scheduling experience looked on favourably - Highly organised with proven ability to manage high volumes of work, meet deadlines and prioritise conflicting priorities and projects - Highly developed communication and Interpersonal skills - A high degree of initiative, takes ownership of issues and demonstrates a "can do" attitude - High attention to detail - Ability to stay calm under pressure - Methodical and thorough approach to work - Experience using a variety of computer software packages including MS Office - Team player that can also work autonomously - Experience in construction or maintenance would be highly advantageous - Coordination/scheduling experience would be advantageous - Current driver's license - Be willing to undergo a Police Check and hold/be willing to obtain a Blue Card **About the Company** Mathiou services is an established, family owned and operated business, with offices located across Australia. Delivering a service that will be difficult to find elsewhere, we provide all of your building and maintenance requirements including carpentry and building, maintenance and repairs, plumbing, floor restoration, commercial cleaning, gardening and landscaping, painting and decorating, electrical services and pest control. Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (preferred)
