Our client, a large retail business in South Sydney with parking onsite, looking for an experienced Inventory Analyst to join their team immediately The Company The Role - Reviewing of invoice exceptions / Dale Express / current invoices failing to close in full; identify reason for exception - Reconciling invoicing of deliveries to Sales Orders - Initial Review of open customer deposits - deliveries failing to "deliver" - Working with IT to correct the process to enable invoice closure - Complete monthly Gold Lion payables reconciliations and analyse billing variances - Maintaining Gold Lion YTD Invoice list and weekly EDI process for global King entities - Controlling the financial processes of the inventory management to ensure accurate, timely and reconciled stock on hand and goods in transit - Supporting global stock take process and complete financial processes and variance analysis - Completing month end closing process for inventory related accounts including COGS, and relevant Balance Sheet reconciliation - Ensuring manual adjustment on Stock is completed timely in SAP e.g. obsolete stock write-off and stock revaluation **Your Profile** - 2+ years of experience in similar role with solid accounting knowledge - Proficient in ERP (SAP preferred) and data reporting tool (TM1) - Intermediate to advanced Excel, knowledge of SQL query is a plus - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proactive with a high level of motivation - Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail - Naturally curious with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Eager to contribute to the process of continuous improvement **Benefits**: - Opportunity to grow and further develop your skills within a global organization - Supportive management - Collaborative organization - Work-life balance
