Reporting to the interim Head of Supply Chain, this opportunity will see you owning national inventory management and leading annual stock take activities. - As the Inventory Specialist your responsibilities will include:_

**Inventory Management**:

- Collaborating with a range of key internal stakeholders to swiftly build trust and understand the GVR business;
- You will manage and drive continuous improvement of operational practices across our national stocking network to support best in class inventory strategies. Our network consists of 100+ vans, 5 branches, national warehouse and production facility.

**Leading national annual stocktake**:

- You will own inventory accuracy and understand the importance of record keeping, reporting and compliance;
- Working with key stakeholders; Finance, Field Operations team and external auditors to ensure successful stocktake achievement.
- Managing domestic carriers + performance management:Using your strong data analysis ability and business information, your aim is to improve carrier utilisation;
- Develop measures to improve freight visibility and optimise current spend on carriers partnering with our 4PL service provider.

You understand the importance of maintaining accurate inventory management and thrive on working as a high performing team. You’re comfortable working with data and interpretation of data to create solutions and are comfortable with using Excel at an intermediate level. It is preferred that you’ve led national stock takes and have demonstrated working with freight carriers.
