Technology Governance Lead

**About the opportunity**

Reporting to the Director of Technology Strategy, Architecture and Performance, in this role you will lead the governance model for AMP Technology, to ensure cohesive and engaged management. You will work with stakeholders across our Technology business and prepare relevant materials for interactions with Boards and Executive Committees.

**How you will make an impact**
- Engage relevant stakeholders across Technology to define and maintain a single governance model that provides clarity on regular engagement forums including risk, cyber, architecture, infrastructure etc
- Ensure an effective regular agenda for all Technology Leadership Meetings and offsite forums which oversee the performance of technology as a whole and drive the future strategy of technology within AMP
- Ensure governance requirements are fulfilled by the responsible technology teams and individuals and that evidence is stored centrally
- Design and maintain an effective policy framework for technology with active management to ensure all policies, standards, guidelines are effective, and reviewed as per schedule
- Technology Board and Executive Committee Report writing
- ensuring concise and effective representation of technology, providing visibility of performance, technology strategy and progress
- As required, participate in, build, and maintain a high performing team who are held accountable to deliver the technology governance via high performance leadership, inclusive leadership, and employee engagement practices
- Contribute to new products, processes, standards, or business plans in support of Tech strategy, with some impact on results for Technology

**What you will bring to the role**
- A breadth of experience within Technology, with specific experience preparing materials for executive interaction with Boards, Board Committees, CoSec and Executive teams
- Experience working in a regulated environment, including working directly with regulators
- Commercial acumen (strong understanding of market and business context; understanding financials; accounting level of scrutiny over the numbers; developing business cases)
- Breadth of technology experience rather than deep expertise in a vertical
- Experience in a fast-paced technology and financial markets environment, with a strong focus on business and financial results
