Lead Cyber Security Architect – Australia Wide

Australia-wide (Hybrid – 3 days in office weekly)

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex IT issues and risks across diverse, detailed activities.
  • Lead cyber security architecture aligned with industry best practices.
  • Drive initiatives focused on reducing technology risk and ensuring governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement IT security standards, policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Support business areas in meeting compliance standards including PSPF, ISM, and Agency Risk Management Frameworks.
  • Provide expert guidance on incident management disciplines.
  • Architect secure solutions using Microsoft platforms and products.
  • Communicate effectively across technical, business, and personal levels.
  • Contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Apply tertiary qualifications in ICT or relevant industry certifications.

Essential Criteria

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in cyber security architecture, including governance, risk, and compliance.
  2. Proven experience in agile environments and adaptability to changing project directions.
  3. Ability to assess risks and security standards in greenfield environments.
  4. Strong technical documentation and executive presentation skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • CISSP certification or equivalent.
  • Experience across all architecture domains: business, information, security, data, technology, integration, and application.
