To work as part of the John Crane Australia sales team in achieving orders, sales and contribution targets for your designated sales area(s) through timely and accurate order entry, timely processing of quotations, order book management and delivering a high level of service and administration for internal and external customers.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Internal Sales Contract review - All client orders (contracts for the purpose of goods and services) shall be reviewed prior to acceptance. The contract review process shall as a minimum, document the review and acceptance of client account information, pricing, lead time, part detail, delivery detail, request date, promise date and where necessary planning for special production and delivery. Order Entry - Ensuring accurate and timely entry of sales orders and successful pass of demand though SAP production system ensuring accurate handover and liaison with the operations team and other areas of our business. Sales Quotations - Assisting external sales team though creation and communication of C4C quotations to customers, particularly for low value or PL standard items. - Service Quotations and support - Assisting our external sales and service departments through the administration of the commercial aspect of service orders. Customer Service - Responding to every customer inquiry and maintaining high level of communication and support through the entire sales and distribution chain to lead to high levels of customer satisfaction. Order Book Management - Ensuring status of open order book is reviewed frequently and thoroughly with the intent to maintain control over commitments to customers. Communication and teamwork with operations team to review and solve any issues. Support to external sales - Ensure that support is delivered in a manner to allow external salesperson to maximize client facing and sales time, including but not limited to review of product sales history, finding costs, RRP, searching for stock and liaison with all aspects of JCA business while salesperson is out-of-office. Be accountable for all commercial aspects of the SAP order book. Be accountable for customer service and satisfaction of your area. Administration and Reporting Providing information relating to the progression of orders and sales on an as required basis. Maintenance of files and contract data, particular storage of sales contracts. Maintenance of all records of communication with clients. Relationship Management - Provide JCA’s clients with a high level of customer services that exceeds their expectations. - Liaise directly with JCA’s clients to update delivery status of goods in a proactive manner. - Process field spares, new sales enquires, sales RFQ and service quotations. - Preparation of quotations (in conjunction with external sales team). - Engaging support from the Engineering Team with technical selections where required. - Engaging support from Operations Team with any order deemed urgent, critical or for other special requirements. - Respond to client requests for product, sales and promotional materials within a timely period. Personal Characteristics - Willingness to travel locally or interstate for training and other company related activities. - An understanding that achieving our business targets and customers satisfaction is the ultimate goal. - Ability to work autonomously. - Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for actions to ensure client satisfaction. - Capable of achieving objectives and delivering results. - Time management, administrative and organisational skills. - Strong communication skills. - High level of integrity and focus to adhere to commitments. - Ability to work within flexible hours, including outside regular working hours as required to complete set tasks and goals.

**The Individual**
- A professional knowledge of functional computer skills with common software (Microsoft Office, Windows Explorer) is essential. - Two to three years experience in an internal sales or sales coordinator capacity is preferred. - Exposure to sales and marketing of industrial products preferred. - Ability to understand form and function of mechanical type products including problem solving and selection is ideal. - Experience in SAP, CRM (C4C) Sales and Distribution is preferred
