**About the role**
This role is a full-time permanent role based in Maddington
The **Engagement Officer** role supports our Home Care team by:
- Working with the Manager Strategic Growth, and the wider Home Care Team to identify, screen and engage with clients accessing all Home Care, Department of Health, aged care funded, programs.
- Liaising with Home Care Coordinators to handover client information and documentation prior to client intake to MercyCare.
- Engaging in effective internal and external stakeholder communications using a variety of communication channels to promote Home Care services.
- Preparing for aged care sector expos and events.
- Conducting phone calls and other engagement activities with potential clients.
- Monitoring the My Aged Care Provider Portal to monitor and engage with CHSP clients who are approved for a Home Care Package.
- There may be occasional travel to client homes or to attend promotional events.
- Undertaking additional duties as required by the Manager Strategic Growth.

**Essential**:
- Relevant experience in a fast moving administrative or customer service role
- Understanding principles of relationship management and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and participation as an active member of a team
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
**Desirable**:
- Certificate III in business, administration, marketing or customer service
- Driver’s license
