**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced HC Driver / Leading Hand, preferably with HIAB experience to join our professional team of drivers. Reporting to and assisting the Operations Supervisor, the main focus of this role will be ensuring the safe and efficient deliveries of roofing products and shed kits throughout local Perth Metro and greater south west WA areas in our modern and well-maintained trucks.

**Responsibilities**:

- To assist the Operations Supervisor with sequencing and planning loads along with other tasks as required
- Express metro deliveries when not relieving other drivers.
- Training & mentoring other drivers
- Relief driving to cover illness and annual leave requirements
- HIAB work with new equipment including remote vehicle mounted cranes
- To be safety conscious at all times and lead by example
- To comply with company policies and procedures

**Skills and Experience**
- Leading Hand, supervisory role experience highly regarded.
- Valid HC Licence
- CV (HIAB Licence) Advantageous
- Demonstrated previous on road experience operating HC trucks
- Knowledge of the local road network
- Can work independently and unsupervised whilst operating as part of a team
- Can adapt to various office software and in-cab electronic devices

**Pre-requisites**
- To undertake a pre-employment medical which will include drug and alcohol screening
- Provide a good driver history provided by the road and traffic authority

**Salary**: $31.57 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- No weekends
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Signing bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maddington, WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
