2MT Mining Products (2MT) is a national, consumable wear parts supply company specialising in ground engaging tools, crusher wear parts and other specialised wear prevention products for fixed and mobile plant, for supply to mining regions throughout Australia.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant / Warehouse Trainee role for our Perth office, based in Maddington.

Key responsibilities of this full-time position Include:

• Receiving inwards goods in accordance with Company procedures
• Check deliveries into the warehouse, for accuracy against the relevant purchase order and the supplier's delivery docket(s), resolve any discrepancies and forward confirmation and relevant paperwork to the Administration Team
• Receipting Purchase Orders
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness ensuring all stock is kept in an orderly manner.
• Loading/unloading vehicles
• Goods outward are to be processed accurately, timely and in accordance with the Customer's requirements

To apply, you must possess:

• Positive "can-do" attitude
• Current Driver's License
• Good communication skills (written & verbal).
• Attention to detail - Accuracy is vital
• Demonstrated ability to comply with an organization's Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Policy
• Ability to multi-task within a small office environment
• A basic to mid-level skills ability in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Desirable:

• Current Forklift Licence (advantageous but not essential and again can be organised and funded by 2MT)
• Experience in a Warehouse Role
• Experience within a Warehouse associated with the supply of mining and/or crushing consumables
• Experience with a computerized accounting system
• Experience with transport on-line booking

Successful applicants will be required to partake in a fitness for work medical assessment including drug and alcohol testing. Nationally recognised training for the will be provided for the right employee.
