**The Role**
The Lead UX Designer is responsible for designing innovative solutions which meet business requirements and user goals, as directed by the Product Manager. In addition, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with Mercury Product Manager and Enterprise Software Architect to understand business requirements and purpose
- Design detailed solutions which align to business requirements and ensure usability
- Validate proposed ideas and solutions through conducting user testing, research, and interviews
- Create artifacts such as behavioural archetypes, personas, wireframes, storyboards, journey maps, sitemaps, screen flows to understand user goals
- Illustrate and communicate design solutions by creating process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Modify design solutions in accordance with feedback from key stakeholders, working within an iterative approach
- Conduct regular reviews, feedback cycles and user acceptance testing to ensure solutions are built according to design specifications and standards
- Collaborate with Development Team to support the delivery of new solution
- Identify UX design and/or usability issues and devise a solution where appropriate
**The Person**
You will be solution-focused and adopt a pro-active approach to devising solutions. Your analytical ability and problem solving skills will encourage you to think differently and identify opportunities to improve.
You will also possess:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a UX Design or similar role
- Strong knowledge in UX Design methodologies, processes and tools
- Experience and knowledge of customer research (usability testing), customer journey mapping, screenflows, and iteration
- Experience in Design tools such as Figma, Sketch and InVision
- Ability to translate business requirements and goals into successful UX solutions
- Ability to simplify complex user interactions and transform into intuitive user experiences
