**Job Summary**

Yump Digital is seeking an experienced and innovative **UX/UI Design Lead** to drive user-centric design for our impactful, accessible websites tailored to not-for-profit organisations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the user experience, occasionally overseeing contract designers. This role combines creativity, strategic thinking, and deep expertise in accessible design to create solutions that resonate with diverse audiences and align with our clients' missions.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Lead and execute end-to-end UX and UI design processes, from research to delivery.
- Conduct UX workshops and facilitate co-design sessions with stakeholders and users.
- Conduct and document user research to understand needs, behaviours, and accessibility challenges.
- Plan and execute usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Prepare high-fidelity wireframes, layouts, and prototypes using Figma.
- Design intuitive and accessible websites with a strong focus on WCAG compliance.
- Develop information architecture, content strategy, and site maps to structure seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure designs meet user and business needs.
- Create and implement design standards, frameworks, and pattern libraries for consistency across projects.
- Provide guidance and feedback to contract designers as needed.
- Advocate for user-centric and accessible design throughout the project lifecycle.

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
- An exceptional portfolio showcasing visually polished interface designs and award-winning work consisting of complex web and mobile projects.
- Expertise in Figma for design and prototyping.
- Strong facilitation skills for UX workshops and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in UX research methodologies and usability testing.
- Proven ability to craft effective information architecture, content strategy, and site maps.
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Experience in designing for not-for-profit organisations (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with Craft CMS projects (bonus).
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively present ideas and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Valid visa to work full-time in Australia. Sponsorship will not be offered.

**Salary and Benefits**
- **Salary**: $130,000 per annum plus superannuation

**How to Apply**

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
