**Opportunity**
12-month engagement for experienced consulting UX UI Designer with depth of experience in government and digital. This is a challenging role from project concept and inception phase. Hybrid working model, remote work available with availability on-site in Melbourne (south east or Docklands) or Sydney.

**Role**
You'll be leading the UX and UI activities for a new product from user research through to ideation and delivery. You'll conduct user research, user testing, conducting regular research to deliver insights, ensure user needs align with requirements.

Working alongside a Product Manager, Tech Lead, BA and Agile delivery team. Creating user workflows, wireframes, prototypes, scalable UI components. Working in a fast iterative prototyping environment.

This is a senior role in the team where you'll take the lead on all UX/UI and mentor/coach more junior designers.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a hybrid UX Research/UX/UI role within government on digital products - federal or state level preferred
- Experience leading all UX/UI activities for a new product from research to ideation and delivery
- Experience conducting user research and discovery, user testing
- Solid Agile and experience in an iterative prototyping environment
- eCommerce, SaaS, digital product design
- Leading, coaching and mentoring others
- Experience creating wireframes, mockups, UI components
- UI Design, Figma, Invision, Storybook
- NOTE: Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this federal agency
