So, what’s required here is a warm and responsive individual, with an affinity for the aged and disadvantaged. You will need to bring WHS qualifications, expertise, and significant experience in researching, designing, developing, monitoring and evaluating systems and performance standards within a supportive framework.

With affable communications and customer service skills and a friendly personality, you have an excellent phone manner, write clearly and persuasively, and are accomplished at building constructive working relationships that ‘get the best out of people’.

Thoroughly engaged by all aspects of the WHS discipline - including around risk assessments and incident investigations - you offer advanced computer skills across Microsoft Office along with meticulous attention to detail, sound values, a passion for data and an exceptional work ethic.

With a proven flair for developing documentation, submissions, briefings, reposts and proposals, you can be relied on to provide sensible and authoritative advice to management and staff that - in turn - helps them to improve WHS outcomes.

So, the one standout personal skill you will need, in addition to your professional wherewithal, is the ability to explain ‘difficult’ WHS matters in clear and kindly day-to-day language.
