**The opportunity**
The Network Growth Manager role will represent AMP Advice in the external market and develop opportunities to promote and atract high quality advice practices to the various solutions offered by AMP Advice. The role will develop strategic and economic opportunities by actively engaging and recruiting high quality advice business to AMP Advice services by:
- Connecting acquisition, merger, and succession opportunities between AMP aligned and external practices
- Attracting existing and potential self-licensed practices to join Jigsaw professional advice services
- Attracting external advice businesses to join the AMP Aligned Advice licenses
- Contribute to the development of the AMP Advice value proposition by providing market feedback and insight to our competition
- Convey a positive, professional culture by working collaboratively with other teams to assist with the achievement of overall AMP Advice strategy
**How you will make an impact**
Relationship and business development
- Lead and influence the understanding and promotion of the AMP Advice strategy and professional advice services in the external market.
- Build collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders;
- Practice principals, key practice staff, key partners, and external industry participants
- Business advisors, brokers, and practice financiers
- Equally, build collaborative relationships with internal key stakeholders/ SME's
- Understand prospective practice goals and drivers so they can be actively transitioned to the strategic account managers under account management framework
- Manage commercial negotiations and collaborate with the advice onboarding and M&A Services in a time efficient manner
- Maintain record keeping requirements in the prescribed system (Salesforce)
Business Management and Growth
- Maintain individual expense budget and contribute to managing regional expense budgets
- Grow professional services income and practice revenue growth
- Promote and support practices to transition to the AMP Advice delivery system
**What you will bring to the role**
- At least 5 years in a practice or business development role within the Financial planning industry
- Certified Financial Planner, Advanced Diploma Financial Services or Diploma Financial Services - highly desirable
- Well developed knowledge of Financial Services industry and Financial Planning profession including regulatory issues, compliance, education standards
- Proficient experience in presenting to small and medium audiences
