Reporting directly to the Industrial and Specialist Services Division Head of HR, this role will be responsible for the internal HR of 185 employees. Your responsibilities will also include: - Management of HR Processes and Administration - Prepare and process New Starter Information, employment contracts, etc. - Assist in coaching and advising managers in HR related matters, including grievances, formal complaint management and disciplinary matters - Work to resolve conflict in the first instance within role and function limits; escalate where appropriate - Effectively deal with stakeholder needs and expectations - Assist managers with performance management processes where required - Assist with disciplinary and grievance investigations, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and legislative requirements - Provide accurate and timely advice in relation to Award and agreement interpretation and implementation, seeking guidance where required - Refer complex employee relations matter to the Division Head of HR and assist with implementing their advice/relevant actions required - Assist with HR related projects as required **What You Need** This role requires a person who thinks outside the box and thrives in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. You will have: - 1+ year in a HR generalist role - Clear and demonstrated understanding of employment legislation in Australia - Ability to think outside the square and identify opportunities - Experience in HR generalist role - Knowledge of WHS in Australia - Ability to passionately articulate business purpose, values and plan - Ability to identify, understand and prioritise issues If you have the experience and skills required and would like the opportunity to work with our growing and successful business, we encourage you to APPLY NOW
