**The Role**
The Project Support Officer role sits within the Business Optimisation team whose primary purpose is to provide ongoing development and review of Training Force Systems enabling all personnel to deliver outcomes in the most effective manner to achieve Training Force’s mission. The team optimise strategies and practices to find efficient ways of working through improved workflows, frameworks and systems.

As the Project Support Officer, you will be responsible for actively managing key stakeholder relationships and will be required to identify relevant stakeholders’ expectations and concerns to develop and communicate methodologies, tools and practices to achieve outcomes. You will liaise closely with Battle Rhythm Managers of key strategic partners to guide the messaging and engagement in managing and driving business and process improvements to deliver change that will enhance stakeholder experience, efficiency and outcomes.

The Project Support Officer will be accountable to deliver and enable the stakeholder engagement framework including strategic communication efforts, strategic communication products and provide advice and support for TF to interact and engage with their stakeholders. Reporting to the Deputy Director Business Optimisation, you will assist in driving continual improvement projects related to work practices and Training Force’s approach to knowledge management.

**About our Team**
The Business Optimisation Team sits within the Business Enterprise Management Directorate at Navy Training Force Headquarters. The team provides business optimisation services to Training Force to enable timely, efficient and accurate decision-making. The team aims to identify and implement new methods and processes that seek to redesign and streamline, ensuring a continual improvement cycle is in place. This role reports to the Deputy Director Business Optimisation currently located at Training Force Headquarters, Campbell Park.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Possess the ability to actively engage, collaborate, and sustain effective relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
- Have sound analytical skills to develop and recommend options that achieve optimal Defence outcomes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to structure messages, both orally and in writing to clearly and succinctly deliver business requirements; and
- Strong task management and prioritisation skills to provide support and facilitate administrative and coordination requirements.
- Work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work.
- Be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
