**The Role**
The purpose of the Accounts Assistant is to maintain financial, accounting, administrative services for the selected state, meet legislative requirements and support the company's operations. Expertise in accounting & customer service skills is essential for success in this role.

**Key Duties**
- Generating invoices, credit memo & account statements, and recovering aged debtors
- Posting daily banking (payment from bank and Bpoint) and reconciling bank statements on daily basis
- Performing accounts receivable reconciliation to ensure all payments are accounted for, and verifying and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
- Running AR aging summary to specify accounts receivable status twice every week
- Sending overdue/over limit notification to sales team & (group) customers
- Locking and unlocking debtor accounts as requested daily
- Managing credit card invoices and making credit card reconciliation monthly
- Assisting in ledgers and financial statements preparation where appropriate
- Assisting in general financial management and analysis
- Ad hoc duties and/or projects as requested by Finance Manager

**About You**
- Experience working in accounts receivable position and knowledge of journals is essential
- **Bilingual - English & Mandarin required**:

- Degree qualification in accounting, finance or business
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and data entry skills
- Oracle (NetSuite) & XERO experience ideal but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
