We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our finance team in a Accounts Payable Officer position to support a maternity leave for approx 7 months at our Ingleburn site.

**Start date : Beginning of October 2024 to support training into role.**

**Key Accountabilities include**:

- Matching, batching and coding a high volume of invoices
- Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills
- Scanning and filing
- Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations
- Contribute accounts payable information to other departments upon request
- Speaking to suppliers on a daily basis
- Coordinate the accounts payable system, including vendor details, record of payments and filing systems

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Minimum one (1) years’ workplace experience in accounts payable function in an environment with high volume and a wide variety of financial transactions, including matching of invoices against purchases orders (with consideration for GRNI)E
- Experience in manufacturing business is highly desirable
- Intermediate excel skills and experience with operating accounting systems,
- Experience in the AP month-end and year-end processes
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, recognise issues and use initiative to identify and discuss proposed solutions
- Strong customer-focus with the ability to develop relationships within the team and related cross-functional teams
