Director / Associate Director - Strategic

The opportunity
As an associate director you’ll typically be the day-to-day client contact, responsible for developing this vital relationship and managing all aspects of our most complex and challenging assignments. This includes planning the delivery of the assignment, managing stakeholders, shaping deliverables and ensuring service excellence. You’ll be comfortable drawing on a wide variety of expertise from us across our industry leading team and providing guidance and support to assignment team members.
- Open to full and part time applicants (minimum three days/week).
- Open to applicants based in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
- Expected to include some travel.
Throughout your role, you’ll have the full support of an industry leading team committed to doing influential work, developing and enabling our people and working with great clients - all with a view to improving the lives of our people, partners and communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading our most complex and challenging assignments, managing project (assignment) teams of between 4 - 10 consultants.
- Creating an inclusive culture throughout the team and within engagements.
- Developing business with existing clients and driving sales activity, including leading the development of proposals and bids.
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure we bring the full suite of expertise available to our clients.
- Shaping and supporting the development of our culture and fostering and a high performing team.
- Service excellence and business improvement initiatives.
- Brand development and market positioning, including thought leadership and networking.
About you
You are passionate about infrastructure, what it can achieve for society and, the opportunities that exist to change how infrastructure is delivered. You will also be eager to help shape and contribute to the growing business you’re a key part of.
You will have experience relevant to infrastructure with either a strong sector focus or commercial or strategy background.
You are digitally savvy, collaborative, able to build lasting relationships and ready to take on the opportunity to shape and grow your career with us.
A relevant degree qualification is preferred but not essential.
