The **Health and Stronger Communities Division** leverages a multi-disciplinary team to develop evidence-based solutions and strategic advice for senior decision-makers across various social and economic policy areas, ensuring a whole-of-government approach for the NSW Government.

As an **Associate Director**, you’ll have the opportunity to manage complex initiatives, delivering strategic advice and thorough evaluations to shape government decisions, policy development, and implementation.

**What you can bring to the role.**

In this integral role there are a few things we would like for you to have to best support yourself and add value to the people of NSW.
- Experience in research and analysis and the ability to identify trends or anomalies in information.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial and policy analysis clearly and effectively (verbally and in writing).
- Experience in providing high quality economic/fiscal/policy advice.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work and lead a team delivering outcomes to tight deadlines.
- A commitment to contributing to an inclusive culture and encouraging diversity.
- Knowledge of public sector financial and performance management, internal audit and risk management, or governance and compliance issues and trends. (desirable).
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics or relevant degree.
