**The Role**

**About our Team**
Cyber Integration STC is part of the Cyber Operations MSTC within the Information Sciences Division. Our team researches, develops and implements capabilities to support, link and integrate cyber infrastructure, systems and capabilities across Defence and commercial platforms, to support the critical cyber research teams.

Our primary responsibilities include developing and operating highly classified bespoke and complex systems, labs and facilities to enable safe and secure research activities to meet the needs of the Cyber and Intelligence capabilities and programs. Our team is uniquely positioned to engage and support a wide range of research activities and has a wide breadth of responsibilities requiring agile and adaptable team members.

You will have the following competencies:

- Ability to develop, promote and implement a compelling vision and plan for your discipline, in alignment with the Defence Innovation, Science and Technology Strategy, and DSTG’s Cyber and Intelligence capabilities and programs.
- Demonstrated ability to construct and deliver integrated Cyber research work packages, with an emphasis on cyber systems security, cyber networks and accreditation, and/or support to military cyberspace operations.

Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following technical areas:

- Machine learning for analysis of complex data, and control of complex systems.
- Previous experience developing and leading discipline staff to cultivate a highly productive and respectful workplace culture, promoting a shared sense of purpose and a commitment to engineering excellence and continuous learning.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and the ability to lead in a cross disciplinary team, with a well-developed ability to interact with, and elicit requirements from stakeholders (such as DSTG scientists, DSTG and Defence enabling organizational units, the ADF, and the national intelligence community).
- A willingness to take personal responsibility to deliver outcomes, meet tight timeframes and be flexible to participate in some out of hours work (as required).
