Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking an Office Administrator to join our project-based civil engineering teams.

To coordinate all areas associated with the main office day to day management and be an important office support function for all teams within the alliance office, resulting in smooth running and optimum productivity. This role is also instrumental in representing the project at the project office reception to both internal and external stakeholders

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the construction industry
- Excellent communication skills across both verbal and written mediums
- Strong attention to detail
- Exposure to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
- Ability to start immediately is highly desirable

What you’ll do (but not limited to):

- Greets clients, visitors and project personnel and ensures relevant signing on protocols are followed
- Ensure reception area is tidy and inviting to all entrants
- First point of contact for office management related queries and issues to liaise with the necessary group to resolve i.e. cleaners, leasing company
- Ensures various registers are maintained and current.
- Responsible for the necessary set up for new starters including identifying a desk, desk set up and providing office inductions
- Books staff travel, accommodation and hire cars as required
- Participates in the site set up, included but not limited to compounds, site accommodation, PPE and other required orders
- Maintains office consumables and office reception including stationery, kitchen, cleaning and printing supplies
- Sources quotes and prepares evaluation spreadsheets as required
- HR Administration assistance such as registers, onboarding, inbox management
- Construction Director assistance, including diary management and document preparation as required.
- Ad Hoc Executive Administrator assistance
