**The Role**
Aviation Support Systems Program Office (AvSSPO), based at Defence Plaza Melbourne, have an opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Engineering and Technical (E&T) specialist within the Chief of Air Force Product 26 (CAF 26) Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Assurance team.
Operating in an integrated environment, individual is responsible to provide support and proactively manage diverse AGSE capability across multiple Delivery Divisions through the monitoring, review, coordination and reporting of system changes (including capability configuration, program schedule and contract deliverables) in accordance with established Engineering Management Processes.
**About our Team**
As part of the Joint Aviation Systems Division within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), AvSSPO in collaboration with Defence Industry oversees management and supply of more than 30,000 assets including aviation ground support equipment, test and measurement equipment, flight recording and locating equipment and aerospace publications in support to Royal Australian Navy, Army and Air Force operational units.

This technical position requires the individual to have obtained a recognised Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualification in a relevant technical domain or relevant skills and work experience.
- Experience working in an engineering/technical environment.
- A thorough understanding of safety management, experience in dealing with technical assets and understanding policy and regulatory systems used to ensure safe product delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working within a capability development and sustainment environment.
