**The Role**
We have an employment opportunity for an Administration Officer to work within the Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) Headquarters. This position sits within a team responsible to provide business and administration support to Defence Aviation Safety Authority elements. The team consists of an APS6 Business and Administration Team Leader and the APS5 Administration Officer.
- Unit budgeting and financial reporting.
- Procurement of services and supplies.
- Management of unit equipment and stores.
- Business security requirements.
- Information and records management.
- Management of workforce capability.
- Developing business instructions or procedures.
**About our Team**
The Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) is responsible to enhance and promote the safety of military aviation through the implementation of a Defence Aviation Safety Program that promotes a generative safety culture and independently assures the effective management of Defence aviation safety risks.
DASA is a complex organisation consisting of Headquarters elements and five Directorates providing aviation safety assurance and specialist engineering services to the Defence aviation community. The organisation has a strength of around 300 personnel, made up of Australian Defence Force members and Australian Public Servants, and is physically located in Melbourne VIC, Canberra ACT, and Amberley QLD.
