**The Role**
As a Government Quality Assurance Representative (GQAR) you will be a member of the APS 5 Quality Assurance Officer Job family and be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex quality assurance work within an integrated workforce.

You will perform procedural and clerical support work to achieve results. You may supervise a Subject Matter Expert as part of an audit team and be accountable to set work priorities and allocate work.

**About our Team**
Our Team SQAS authors and maintains domestic Supplier Quality Assurance and international Government Quality Assurance (GQA) Policy to mitigate quality risks for Defence Capability being manufactured or serviced both in Australia and overseas.

SQAS manages the outgoing GQA (Case Manager) requests for Defence materiel being manufactured for Australian Defence internationally by Delegation through other Defence organisations.

Incoming GQA (product, process, and system auditing, and Government Source Inspection) is undertaken via Delegations from other international governments at Australian Defence Suppliers.

Will be a highly professional, motivated, enthusiastic and experienced self-starter requiring limited supervision.

You would have highly developed personal organisational skills and the ability to organise an audit team. Commensurate with this you will exhibit ability to identify/define issues; report on non-conformances; and formalise your findings through excellent report writing and documentation.
