This government agency is looking for a Cloud Security Consultant to join their team in a 6-month contract role. You will have the opportunity of working at a government agency located in Sydney CBD.

**Your new role**

As a Cloud Security Consultant, your responsibilities include ensuring the security, compliance, and data privacy of the Azure platform. This role involves designing and implementing strong security measures, offering expertise on Azure security features, and advising on best practices for safeguarding the organization’s data assets. Additionally, you’ll establish and enforce Azure security configurations, standards, and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain data integrity in anticipation of potential penetration testing assessments.

**What you'll need to succeed**

As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will be required to possess the following skills and experience:

- Extensive expertise in Azure cloud design and configuration.
- Proven experience in the configuration, installation, and administration of switches and routers, Load Balancers (F5), and Fortinet Firewall technologies.
- Proven expertise in configuring and maintaining Cloud platforms networking infrastructure and the integration back to on-premises platforms.
- Experience integrating Power BI with Azure Active Directory for secure authentication and single sign-on (SSO) capabilities.
- Deep understanding of Data Security and Security Posture Management in the Cloud.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.
