About the role

• Providing industry experience and recommendation across a wide range of technologies and solutions
• Understanding client business requirements, current strategies, technologies, limitations and translating them into robust, justifiable security solution definitions.
• Leading large scale security projects for enterprise customers, including (but not limited to) those where Palo Alto services are significantly employed. Ideally you'll have experience designing and deploying:
• Prisma access (SASE)
• Cortex (CNAPP)
• Software firewalls
• Developing designs encompassing security infrastructure, platforms and services. This may include network security group policies, IAM controls, data loss protection policies and more.
• Reviewing, designing and implementing secure solutions across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Supporting sales and pre-sales activities with clients

What you'll need to be successful

• Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining security solutions and control implementations; primarily in cloud and / or hybrid environments
• Strong knowledge of zero trust principles and architectures, as well as their practical limitations and inhibitors to successful implementations
• Cloud devops engineering skills with prior experience in deploying IAC such as terraform or using python or ansible for configuration management
• Knowledge and hands-on experience across the Palo Alto cloud product portfolio (primarily within a cloud context) as well as those of comparable vendors.
• Willingness to continually upskill; including learning new technologies and obtaining new certifications
• Experience in leading teams and projects, as well as mentoring and guiding junior consultants
• Experience working in regulated environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise with and influence diverse stakeholder groups

Working in our emerging and growing cyber security capability allows you to work closely with clients across our teams. Mantel presents to the market a cohesive, integrated cybersecurity capability, bringing together both security specialists with the broader cloud, data and digital specialists of Mantel. Our security capabilities span governance, risk and compliance, architecture, cyber engineering, offensive security, and are delivered across two streams - Advisory and Engineering. We enable large-scale cyber security initiatives for our clients, and improve the protection of IT environments.
